1·7 months agoLight is a constant and there isn’t gravitational lensing between the Earth and Sun. Any light from the Sun always reaches us at the same speed of roughly 8 minutes
The duration of the total eclipse is going to be about 4 minutes which is going to make it rather a unique experience.

This actually only covers the subdomain. It doesn’t extend to
*.network.example.com. I spent last Saturday fighting my browsers until finding that out.

92·10 months agoThe cost of ingredients have gone up anywhere from 75%-300% from corporate greed. Flour went from $1/Lb to $5/Lb. It’s actually cheaper in some cases to buy the mass produced version of things like bread.
TL;DR: You can only lower you consumption so much before you starve
so just not eat at all then?

If you have the space it’s easy to start stocking up. Next time you’re shopping buy 2 or 3 instead of 1. You’re going to use it anyways and most packaged items will last at least a year on the shelf.
Prophecies require explicit parameters. Anything else is ad-hoc and you can fit nearly anything to be a prophecy after the fact.

5·1 year agoA service like VoIP.ms you can get a DID (phone number) that supports SMS for a one time fee around $2 and usage fees around $0.001/minute
I prefer HexChat for a Windows IRC client.
Really depends what you’re chasing. If you want overall performance then 256GB is the better choice. It’s quite a bit faster than 128GB in terms of actual physical chip performance. There are diminishing returns in performance once you go above 256GB.
