It’s usually between someone you kinda don’t like and someone you kinda like, so the stakes are lower. This year we had to choose between The Antichrist and Some Boring Lady, but this country hates women 🤷♂️

I really enjoyed the movie, but the first two-thirds felt far better packaged and told than the latter third. I wish they had just stopped before the last arc and fleshed that out into its own movie - I was satisfied with the cliffhanger, and it felt far too rushed afterwards
Containers of fish are extremely easy to weigh.
The short answer is just that doing so would be ridiculously difficult and expensive. Funnily enough, “launch it into the sun” is actually the easy part at this point. If we could collect all of the ocean’s trash, we probably would have done so and compressed it by now.
Only hours? lol then that’s fine
…who would choose to hang out in the DRM community? That’s super weird
Well, the interesting thing about that quote is that Socrates was completely correct. People used to be able to recall long epic poems from memory, not just one, but an entire book shelf’s worth of information
I’m not convinced that people in general could ever do that. Or rather, not in any way that we’ve lost.
Ask a kid to tell you the lore from their favorite game, and they’ll recite books worth of information if you let them. You just don’t care about that content, so you think they’re stupid instead.
Agreed on it being the CCNA. That is the definitive intro to cisco networking certs, especially in undergrad

Since we’re just doing random shit and seeing what it looks like, how much did she win by if we remove Texas?
What all of these comments have in common is that they’re negative, low value, non-constructive, and frankly have no place on Hackaday.

The other risk is that black market cartridges have absolutely flooded the market, even getting mixed in with legitimate stock.
Anyone voting Democrat or Republican is complicit in Genocide and should face tribunals.
Really great job silencing yourself to prove a point. People who don’t participate in society are great at enacting change 🙄
We use a first past the post system. Stop denying reality as if your third party candidate matters in the slightest. Until we get some sort of ranked choice/etc, they literally couldn’t matter less
this is posted on Lemmy where most users are already tech savvy (enough to at least start using Lemmy)
You can just download one of the many <WhateverApp> For Lemmy apps from your mobile store… there’s literally no barrier to entry.
It stopped working, didn’t it? Did he ever get it replaced?
EDIT: No note on how he’s doing now, but I was right:
This positive news comes after the first patient ([Noland Arbaugh]) suffered major issues with his implant, with only 10-15% of the electrodes still working after receiving the implant in January. The issue of electrode threads retracting was apparently a known issue years prior already.
Not a plug, but a fuse box - that small panel would open up/pull out to let you replace the fuse. Couldn’t tell you what it’s for without more info
They don’t care about the outcomes of their actions, they care about their feelings as they make the actions. That’s it. Stop wasting your time arguing with children 🤷♂️
