I think a lot of people would like the idea of decentralized social media in principle but most of them just want to download an app on their iPhone and get going instead of learning anything.

Yeah I don’t want it to become a cesspit like Reddit, Facebook, and Xitter.
No. The whole fediverse thing is niche and likely always will be. That might be a good thing though.
Any halfways decent GPU driver and device firmware will put it into a low power state when it’s idle.
Because it’s stupid and Lemmy is decentralized unlike Reddit so it wouldn’t make sense anyway.
My doctor cut my dose way too fast as well and it definitely sucked but I adjusted after a couple weeks. She did raise my bupropion at the same time though.
My doctor took me off Venlafaxine which was paired with bupropion and raised the dose on the bupropion. I actually like it. I it nixes my anxiety, gives me energy, and treats my suspected executive dysfunction and attention issues too.
I was given escitalopram first but it didn’t help enough so I asked for an SNRI and the psych doctor gave me Venlafaxine which helped but caused weight gain and lethargy so they added bupropion and now my PCP changed over to just bupropion and it works like a charm. I guess instead of an SNRI I needed an NDRI.
Enlisted lean solidly conservative while officers are more to the center.
Like: It’s not Reddit.
Dislike: The userbase is too small and there are way too many circlejerks in some communities and you get bashed to hell if you dare to disagree with them.
Meanwhile in certain countries people with an M.B.B.S. and no doctorate get to use the title of “doctor” as a matter of convention.
Funny how physicians have basically co-opted the title even when they technically do not possess the degree it refers to. And even funnier is that the word doctor means teacher in Latin so it would make much more sense that those with Ph.D.s, who are qualified to teach at the highest levels, should get to use the title over physicians most of whom do not teach anything at all unless they are medical school professors.
Nah he gave up medicine after he became a Buddhist wizard.
The Curious Case of Doctor Strange and Mister Normal
Visual Studio for Mac was never the real Visual Studio it was a reskin of Xamarin Studio.
I don’t actually use VS either mostly because I prefer to use a lighter editor and the commandline. But it does set a high bar for what an IDE should be.
There’s also Zed. It’s still pretty new and barebones but I like it a lot more than Code or anything else.
It looks like they deprecated that one so they can sell the Rust plug-in for CLion. Granted RustRover is free for non-commercial use.
Stuff like this is why I don’t mess with paid IDEs and editors.
They’re really not. As much as I hate commercial licensing for any dev tools, if you want to talk about superior there’s nothing quite as good as Visual Studio (not code) on Windows.
Paper? What backwards ass pharmacy did you go to in the US that they didn’t send prescriptions via the internet?
The userbase is too small for now. But I hope more people start coming over from Steve Huffman’s hellhole.
The problem is that who and what you consider to be right is extremely subjective.
