Can’t or won’t?
Can’t or won’t?
Sorry, packet tracer is the only one I have experience with, and that was 10 years ago during a sysadmin course.
I’m pretty firmly in the second category only. I have had the first a few times, but when whatever thing you were so stoked about inevitably fries or fails a few weeks in, you quickly learn to stop doing #1 altogether.
Encrypted DNS traffic => oh noed, what now?
If it makes you feel any better, I have a degree in journalism and I graduated in 2008.
I’ve never used it. 4 years of college and tens of thousands down the drain for no discernible reason, only to graduate in the worst recession in a century and subsequently never getting hired in my field.
To add insult to injury, the few peers I know who did “make it” are working terrible hours, weekends, … and they make peanuts. So maybe my failing was a blessing in disguise? It might be the same way for you.
Well I’m up for that. It’s just one of those things that are kinda hard on your own.
We’re already seeing it. Jobs are going down because AI allows companies to do the same work with less headcount.
There is no reality in which the workers actually benefit though. Never has been. When machine looms and steam engines came into being, the workers didn’t get any richer or had to work less for the same pay either. Jobs disappeared, most people got other jobs, some better, most worse and the unluckiest starved.
History always repeats.
I forget in what series or movie it was, but they captured a zombie and pulled all its teeth, making it completely harmless. Probably in Walking Dead somewhere.
The first company to do this successfully will probably become the world’s most valuable overnight.
I suppose technically he’s more of a revenant. Higher hit dice.
Yeah, when the actual mobo and cpu can be taken over remotely, what does the OS even matter?
Conversely, there are many other people from his time that definitely did exist and verifiably so. I have a bronze coin minted in Judea by Pontius Pilatus. I can look at it, I can touch it, it’s real. Even as an avowed agnostic, I see no reason why Jesus couldn’t have been a real person (minus the miracles that were almost certainly later additions).
Good thing I was already de facto boycotting EA games. Not necessarily out of conviction, but because all of them are total shit and simply not worth my time anyway, especially compared to what else is on offer elsewhere. Haven’t even started on BG3 yet.
“We’re gonna keep doing it, but feeling really bad about it all the way to the bank”
Too bad I lost interest over a year ago.
That’s why it’s commonly known as the wave of death.
1080 was awesome but the original Titan was something else entirely.
I don’t even feel accomplishment for actual hard tasks, let alone menial ones. Where does one learn such superpowers?
Who is the big guy exactly? Megadeath?
This company should no longer exist. They should be eliminated lawfully and the higher ups jailed or at the very, very least, forbidden from doing any kind of business at all for a lifetime.
We know this will never happen, but it should.
