Oh that’s a shame. Well I guess I’ll try Zen then
I think this is going to be my main.
Has accounts on lemmy.zip, lemmy.world, fedia.io and kbin.earth with the same handle

Copying the profile folder should do it
You should also copy profiles.ini (which indicates the path of the working/available profiles)
I see, thank you. That seems to be what I found out when I researched this as well.
If they are too behind the version that the profile is from then there might be “forwards compatibility” issues
Good point. I’m still using Mozilla’s firefox, but am planning to try out Zen Browser, or go with Waterfox if Zen’s Arc Browser style isn’t up to my needs. For example, I’m very happy with the sideberry add-on on firefox.
Good point. I’ll try invizible.
I chose NextDNS when Android supports custom DNS. And dont wamt to run a “VPN” all the time. It just works for my threat model.
Found out about it from Tech Lore. Customizing the filters just felt natural since that’s what I do with ublock anyways
PIA I use for torrenting as well so I don’t think I’ll ever stop that subscription
From the description:
InviZible Pro is an all-in-one program. After installing it, you can easily delete all of your VPN applications and ad blockers. In most cases, InviZible Pro works better, is more stable, and faster than free VPNs.
Obviously it would be better than free VPN services. But I’m wondering how it would stack with my current set up. I already paid for NextDNS and PIA. Usually I don’t run PIA unless I want to access spicy stuff. And 99.999% my NextDNS stuff works fine.
I’d love to pay less but I also want to know what I’m trading for it
It’s funny how I replied to this post and glazing piefed with my Lemmy.zip account instead of my piefed account.
Also another great feature of piefed that I forgot to mention: piefed consolidates similarly titled posts / crossposts and present comments from the different communities into one page.
I haven’t figured it out yet if I reply to the post, which community will it go to. I assume if I reply to one of the comments it will go to the community where the comment is.
One of the reason I can think of is some kind of “match” making. idk I never played with randoms. I especially do not want to play with randoms in a game that “requires” mic input for the monster mechanics.
Also probably P2P or player-hosted is such a foreign concept nowadays, since almost anything online-only is all centralized.
Eh, I’ve had lukewarm luck that Firefox sync works for it over the years I flip flop around browsers and installs.
I’d rather do it right the first time than flipping a coin that it works this time.
