Well they have become less satirical than reality so…now I don’t know what to do.

First, I made ‘Album Artists’ my landing page. 'Artists" includes everyone tagged in the metadata, ‘Album Artists’ only contains the primary artists. For me, the difference is 350 album artists vs 1412 artists.

I run everything through Picard when I add something to the server. Sometimes I have to change the metadata (for example I hate having an entry for ‘&’ like Elton John & Hans Zimmer and I’ll change it so the album is included in both Elton John and Hans Zimmer but theres no entry for them together). But generally it’s pretty simple and smooth.

Has Mullvad ever been required to comply for anything though? Or are you saying Mullvad has already, and refused to follow Swedish law?

Privacy (different from anonymity) has become more and more important to me, and Google had access to nearly every part of my life in one way or another. I’ve cut out Musk, Zuck and Bezos, and I’m now nearly completely Google free as well.

I’ve often heard “why do I care if Google reads my emails? I’ve got nothing to hide”. 2 great answers:

1. Unlock your phone and give it to me for an hour. Just because you have nothing to hide doesn’t mean you don’t want privacy. Google does exactly that.

2. Speaking of privacy, why bother closing the stall door in a public washroom? You’re not doing anything wrong in there.
