My work had something like this to detect drug usage on premises for a while (it was and is a problem still) and it costed like 30k capital and 2-3 opex a year. We had it for like a year and only took it out because there were too many false flags and security didn’t and doesn’t have the staff to be chasing down every alert anyway.

It was neat that on paper it was able to detect different drugs, heroin, weed, meth all flagged different alerts with 2 of those contacting police when detected. Unfortunately it was only like 70% accurate and we didn’t/don’t have enough security staff to use it properly so it’s gone now.

No one sober would ever consider Springfield MO or Springfield IL to be anywhere near the word MAJOR city. Both are destitute compared to the actual cities in their states

It’s in Missouri and Kansas both. St. Louis also exists on both sides of the river/border but East St Louis is always treated differently since it’s in a pretty desperate situation economically and no one seems to care.

Worth mentioning that all 4 of these cities operate under drastically different governments with no oversight over each other which shows when you compare them with each other

I live in the eastern one, many of us would absolutely love to join Illinois instead of Missouri. We pretty much hate this state

If only our vendors made Linux versions of their systems and regulators would approve them or the OS but no, my regulators only allow windows and approved software that they verify the hashes of every few months for changes

Why the hell were you doing regedits instead of just imaging with WDS/MDT or similar and joining to AD?

Looks like standard Midwest USA temp ranges to me, we get all the extreme temps + natural disasters like tornadoes, large hail, blizzards, living near major fault lines for eventual mega earthquake, and don’t forget the gun psychos!

If we’re talking infrastructure buildouts I’d rather just go the extra step and build a few tram/train lines vs adding a bike lane to every road

Haven’t tried helldivers yet, bought the steam deck to use on planes and trains while on holiday and so haven’t had internet access at all and certainly not reliable internet most of that time. Super Earth will just have to wait until this diver is back at the main machine

I just got a steam deck a few weeks ago and gotta say, it’s pretty great and it just boots into steam which is all I’d ever want a handheld to do. I got the highest tier steam deck for $650 and it’s had no issue running anything I’ve wanted to run on it. It runs new stuff perfectly well from all the reports I’ve seen of people playing baldurs gate 3 on it
