I’m pretty sure the people who still use Twitter use it for the drama. Mastodon and Bluesky just aren’t as spicy to them. Hell, Mastodon takes setting up to even get anything interesting.

A surprisingly high number of leftists still use it as well.
My initial position was that AI art would be exciting when a more carefully curated training data is used. … But after some talking with friends, I think we’re living in a world that has minimal respect for copyright already, except when a corporation has a problem with it and wants to bring down the hammer of the law.
It does hurt and its easy to be emotional about artists’ livelihoods being threatened by AI, they aren’t the only laborers threatened by job loss to automation, but this one hurts the most.
So now its just up to AI and artists to make interesting art with it. And for artists to adapt to this environment that has automated art tools.
Like I care. Amazon bought it, they have a monopoly, hey maybe these consumer facing startups would be more profitable if all the money wasnt already distributed so unevenly?
I dont know for sure, but that height is great for visibility.
The more Im looking into it you are so much more right than me. Its about utility, not aesthetics.
This is called a quadricycle. Its a bike… Or is it? This is a common solution to the safety concerns OP is raising.
I mean I don’t want delivery cyclists hit by cars, that would be completely unacceptable. Maybe you have more familiarity than me with the dangers of delivery cycling.
Edit: after looking st quadricycles… Yeah other companies are offering a lot more protection. In my perfect world no one is getting hit, but in this world we have some great ideas to keep delivery cyclists safer.
Small towns are baller during the holidays. Brightly lit shop windows, carolers, the works.
I guess you’re probably right but to play devils advocate that’s just the tooling they have at their disposal rather than an advanced new custom design. And cargo also needs to be protected from tampering as protection from theft.
Make the small one appealing to Americans who buy a truck for aesthetics.
I find mastodon boring and I just think people who wanna use defederated twitter are different and more common than people who wanna use defederated reddit. Peertube though, now that is a compelling argument.
I have never even heard of giclee printing.
Old school internet 😆 tumblr is a modern social media platform, the only difference being you can type as many words as you want.
In hindsight this sounds like a good idea, but certainly no one used this junk.
My best bet for a wealth increase is gonna be working for a company that treats me poorly enough for collective bargaining, labor rights strikes, or even unionization to occur. And that will not likely happen under Biden, but rather because of his laws but many years later when someone else will take credit.
OVERNIGHT? My town does whole stretches of road, usually one each year. Takes weeks.
Power to ya and I know I wish I had a place like this when I was a teen. I hope this place is a very very safe place, with thorough and trustworthy moderators. Knowing Blahaj.zone, I think it will be.
All I know about Bluesky is what’s in the name. When you look at the Fediverse tree, every branch, leaves, and roots are labelled. But the sky isnt. Bluesky. I believe the intent is to be bigger and far more important than the Fediverse, smother it rather than let it grow. Jack is a businessman, after all. He really liked having a hugely important platform in Twitter and how much political power it was beginning to have.
“There’s an app for that.”
