I think my biggest takeaway from this so far is that dryers are just not a thing in most of the world. So TIL that.

I know you didn’t ask me, but since I’m the OP, it doesn’t even matter in our case. It could be in either order. The washer opens at the top with a flip up door and the dryer opens from the front with a flip down door.
(sorry lefties,)
Now I wonder, as a lefty, if this is why I always hate the time I have to put everything in the dryer?
The discussion we were having involved the washers and dryers in our homes. Except for one person, it was always washer on the left, dryer on the right.
My washer loads from the top.
Same with one person in the chat. But for the rest of us, it was always washer on the left, dryer on the right.
I don’t give a shit. I’m just tired of seeing obvious nonsense.
Sorry, it can’t be both.
and instead just need to inflame some anti-cop nonsense
I was, again, literally answering your question. I know you want to put words in my mouth or act like you knew what I was really doing, but I was still just answering the question:
Where do you think police are sitting at polling places harassing people?
To which the answer, ignoring the terrible grammar, is, “quite possibly.”
And it will continue to be “quite possibly” no matter how vociferously argue that you don’t actually care.
You asked a question, I answered it. I’m not sure why you’re so angry about it. Don’t ask questions if you don’t want them answered. The answer “quite possibly” applies to that question regardless of the context of the discussion.
I was responding to this, hence my replying directly to it explicitly about what it said:
That’s you, right? It looks like your username.
Because the answer is still “quite possibly.”
Wow, you sure got a lot out of “quite possibly.”
I’m not sure what you think it meant, but it didn’t mean all those words you put in my mouth. It means police officers [and I don’t know why I have to say this, but not 100% of all police officers] quite possibly could sit at polling places and harass people. You certainly haven’t said anything to counter that possibility.
When they’re off duty? Quite possibly.
Even the edible ones are tiny fungus dicks.
I hate to say this considering the subject matter, but I thought The Insider was SUPER dull. I would have rather watched a documentary.
Rails-to-trails does seem to be happening more and more though. Even a small town near us is turning the railroad tracks into a walking trail.
I am guessing even if the railroad owns it, they can use eminent domain to claim it.
Seriously though, as much as I hate that we’ve abandoned so many railroads in this country, even the urban ones should at least be turned into walking/biking trails once they stop being used. It’s ridiculous to drive past overgrown train tracks and think, “I wouldn’t even need a car if those things were in use, but as it is right now it isn’t even safe to use them as a footpath.”
A former switchyard in the town where I grew up got turned into a beautiful park and there are trails going through town where the railroad tracks went. Obviously a trolley or some other sort of passenger rail would be better, but at least make that otherwise useless land some sort of public good.
Jeez. At least do rails-to-trails with them.
Because the Democrat ran against a guy who called himself a black Nazi and said he wished slavery was legal so he could own slaves. And said so on porn sites. And that was the printable stuff. A lot of it involved weird sexual shit and fantasies about his wife’s sister.
The real question is how he still got 40% of the vote.
