This could be reasonable depending on the limit. I think 1 hour limit for free tier is generous, 6 hour limit for medium tier is reasonable if most users play less than 6 hours per session. But 8 hours for the top tier sucks balls and is a major scam.

Just by reading the first sentence I can tell you that you will enjoy Linux. Don’t worry about all the technical stuff it seems complicated because you don’t know it. Just install Linux and use it and you will learn what all that stuff means. Since you’re building a new PC you got nothing to lose from trying out a few different Linux distros.

Revolt could be good as a local family group chat if you like the discord style. You’ve probably already tried it but Pixelfed/mastodon/misskey sound like the easiest to get family on board with and seem like they would be good family social media platforms IMO.

Now I’m even more confused. Why would I want edit old versions of a file like that. The article compares the file snapshot to having a copy of that file but I wouldn’t have a copy. There has to be some performance overhead from doing all this unnecessary storing and changing of files compared to normal reading and writing?
