I mean the steam deck is portable though. It’s not the same thing. Also you can pirate on windows too. It’s actually easier.

The single reason I bought a Steam Deck instead of a console was because it would let me pirate games. And now I have more than 50 games on my Steam account. I still pirate games but there are games that are reasonably priced and not made by a multi-billion dollar company and I just buy them.
I didn’t change any settings. fresh account
Downvote me into oblivion but Kagi ain’t shit. It’s a glorified Google frontend. The author is right that the web is filled with AI generated articles and fake reviews and lists but Kagi is not immune to this enshittification.
I even tried the same query the author was bitching about. Here is Kagi’s first two links for top 10 air purifiers. Notice how the first result is a BS website called top10.com and the second one is one of the “fake review” websites .
And here is Google’s. First result is Wirecutter, and this might be subjective but I trust Wirecutter reviews on most things.
Rest of the Google results are exactly what the author was mentioning. But Kagi was no different.
So $10/month to get the same shit? No thank you. I agree that Google turned to shit compared to what it was but it is still the best search engine out there. Now if the article was about privacy concerns then they would have a point. Which is what Kagi is all about anyway. So let’s stop the fucking act.
God I fucking love material design

Yeah but self hosting comes with a lot of risks. You need to spend time to back up to another hard drive every now and then otherwise you’re just risking your precious memories. I tried out immich (which is amazing btw, kudos to the dev) but it just doesn’t feel dependable for the long term.
Sorry but their prices are out of this world.
Hey thanks man.
Cyberpunk GTA V Witcher 3 Baldurs Gate 3 Dead Space The evil within 2 Hogwarts Legacy Hollow Knight The mortuary assistant Uncharted
This is in no particular order. I was just trying to remember the games I enjoyed the most on the steam deck.
Meh. I mean it’s not surprising. A lot of people including open source enthusiasts stuck with reddit despite everything.
Stremio + RD. Nothing comes close
Mihon for comic books
Lol I was just bitching about this the other day? They’re lurking on Lemmy guys and this is proof
Hey it’s my first time interacting with a mastodon user on Lemmy. Wonders of the fediverse. If you live in the EU it’s about to get better because they won’t be held back by webkit anymore. Unfortunately only in the EU. So now they’ll have to make two apps for iOS.
Edit: I forgot to add. Every web browser on iOS is basically just a skin on top of webkit because Apple doesn’t allow it.
Firefox for Android straight up sucks. Sorry but it’s true. It’s heavy and slow with a bad ui. It basically has one and only one benefit. Add-ons. That’s it. It’s even worse on tablets. It’s basically the same app but bigger. I bet Android users make up most of Firefox mobile users but they can’t make a proper app.
An app called button mapper. Available on play store for TV. Just search for it like any other app
A must buy then ❤️
