I used an iPod touch for calling over WiFi for years. It worked just fine, as long as one had a WiFi connection. Do it!

Thanks! I’ll give it a gander. I was off hiking today, and used some crappy app to track my progress. I know there’s an open source ware that can do it, without invading my privacy; it’s time to start using that ‘ware.

I love velomobiles! They are the fastest human powered vehicles. A few years back I pushed the button and bought a two wheel recumbent. They are so cool and I had to give it a try. And I found that they are about as exciting for me to ride as riding a lawn chair. They are cool to look at, and super efficient for commuting. The big race is in Battle Mountain, NV (http://ihpva.org/whpsc/). Last I checked the Varna Diablo had won the running 200 meters at just a bit over 80mph.

Bingo! This is the way. I only open chrome when I need to log into a google/ alphabet site on the unlikely occasion. And close it immediately after.

LoL, no, solitary bees are all about pollinating, and even that they do delicately. And they don’t build hives. Nor do they make honey.
