I recently got an 8BitDo ultimate but so far I’ve only managed to get mint to pick it up as “generic Xbox controller”.

When it’s working properly, best controller ever.

I get where you’re coming from, however I reckon he’s doing a huge public service in this regard, imagine someone just happens to click on one of his vids and learns how scummy corpos are. That’s why I believe he should continue with these callouts, but yeah I’d like to see more actual repair stuff in future.

Where I’m at, there are “speed vans”, these survey boxes are also used to determine where the speed vans should be placed, though the other uses such as vehicle weight/axle count others mentioned are the main function afaik.

These speed vans are equipped with cameras that can capture several lanes and directions, from a great distance. You just drive past these things and they have a sign on top saying “your speed has been checked”.
