what do these people do for work? this seems like a fairly priveledged idea to entertain as far as I can see. like great if you’re making techvalley money on some work from home job, but thats defintily a pretty steep entry fee

if anyone reading this knows, what IS SimHub???
edit: it appears to be software for connecting additional hardware to racing sim games
I thought this one looked awesome when I saw it, even cooler when I saw the guy picking it up like it was nothing BC its so lightweight https://youtu.be/d9gEaHZUwwI?si=s3cncvpSadJ1AZJT
Can you elaborate why that last sentance makes it bad?
Good bot
I’m super happy with Nobara. As a beginner its got everything I need without feeling too limiting
The animations for this games cutscenes look amazing
Shut up. I agree with you it should be included in windows, I just wanted to feel included
im so intrigued by these characters, is this part of a larger webcomic or something?
She calls it Mk2 but its shoulder says Mk3, id like to imagine that the Mk3 model actually does have sentience and can feel pain
I remember thinking that when playing after they first announced that they weren’t developing for it anymore, but now most of my opponents and teammates seem to be human
they might’ve stopped development, but the game is still alive. finding matches even with only one playlist selected is still pretty fast compared to something like halo mcc
debians probably fine, but +1 for Nobara. been using it for a few months, not a single complaint. they’re even switching to KDE by default in nobara 39, which just released a few days ago
a little sad they switched to chromium for default browser, but their reason makes sense.
also didn’t even realize Minecraft was running in XWayland, but it’s cool that it can run natively in Wayland now

i found their site and in confused by this part of their intro page:
“That was how the idea started to grow in my head. After that, I began to find existing solutions in the self-hosting space with similar backup functionality and the performance level of the App-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named. I found that the current solutions mainly focus on the gallery-type application. However, I want a simple-to-use backup tool with a native mobile app that can view photos and videos efficiently.”
what is the main thing that separates immich from other “gallery-type applications”? wouldnt all comparable apps have some kind of gallery?
I’m confused, can you describe the method you use directly? my only tool for dealing with people like this is ignoring them and cutting contact, it’d be nice to have some tools in case it happens to someone I actually like
I play GTA V Online a lot and the extent of my excitement ended when I saw the release date. I’ll just stay in my grind-y billionaire simulator for now, dont know anyone else who cares about VI rn
