My choices are AT&T and Comcast. Both are shitty and treat you equally shitty, but Comcast actually works most of the time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I used to fly united quite a bit and it used to be pretty good. But these days my options for flying for work are united, delta, and southwest and I usually choose delta because they don’t charge you for shit and you can have both an overhead carry on and a small bag plus free internet on the plane. In the end they’re all shit, but I’m going to pick the lesser of the shits each time. Same reason I have Comcast internet.
Why use lot word when few word do trick?
Not 3 years ago, I had a landlord who was very low key and hands off. This was great in the sense that we could do whatever we wanted to the apartment and he wouldn’t care, but we had to write him an actual check each month. Considering this apartment had everything we wanted with all the sprinkles for an incredible price, I was totally down to write a physical check if that’s what the guy wanted. Plus you can typically get your bank to write and send checks automatically which we ended up doing after a while. Ended up staying for 5 excellent years! 10/10 would write checks again.
Holy bismuth, Batman!
I’ve been trying to decide the best “lazy” way to make homemade dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Typically, you would have a mold and put a bit of melted chocolate in the bottom of each mold and then use a brush to paint chocolate up the sides and then put it in the fridge to solidify and then put the peanut butter fudge in each one and then dump more chocolate on top and then wait for that to solidify and then pop them all out. But… I think I can maybe just dip each one in chocolate and let it solidify in the mold? Less steps means I can make more cups and then I can have a large supply to last me longer. But maybe then there won’t be enough chocolate on the PB cup? Maybe I don’t need that many PB cups in my life? But the ones I buy right now are super expensive and this would save me some money 🤷
First of all … ew. I don’t know who this is for honestly. Maybe it’s one of those things that was used during war times that’s now sold in stores because why not? Second, we have lots of Krogers in the US and they are currently trying to merge with Albertsons which would essentially create a monopoly on grocery stores. Let’s all hope that doesn’t go through.
I would already like to buy a 4k TV that isn’t smart and have yet to find it. Please don’t add AI into the mix as well :(
Gabe said it best! “The easiest way to stop piracy is not by putting antipiracy technology to work. It’s by giving those people a service that’s better than what they’re receiving from the pirates.”
I’ve heard stories about people receiving citations for letting homeless people sleep in their garage on nights with dangerous negative temperatures in Chicago. And while I get that we have laws for a reason to prevent certain situations from occuring that may be dangerous, it seems like if your choice is definitely die from -15F overnight or risk maybe the chance that if the garage catches fire, it wasn’t made to the same fire safety standards as a house… Just seems like a no brainer to me. Usually judges are supposed to read emergency situations like this and throw the charges out, but it sounds like they won’t even negotiate with this guy :/
This study isn’t really about kinds of protein, it’s more about different protein products and the amount of micro plastic in relation to the amount of processing. If it was just about kinds of protein, then the chart would just say “chicken” or “soybeans” instead of “plant based nugget” or “chicken breast”. Very eye opening about breaded shrimp. I would have assumed those were no worse off than a fish stick, but apparently they’re worse than chicken nuggets. In the end this just goes to reiterate that the more processed something is, the more sus it is to eat :/
It’s framed very inaccurately in the news as well. You’ll see articles about how ford reports people aren’t buying their electric lineup. Meanwhile the dealership is marking them up so high that they are now priced too high for the target market. But the articles never mention that part
Bold claim when you remember all of the horrific UI that car manufacturers utilized before everyone started using Apple and Google’s UI. Sometimes I have to borrow an old car from someone and you just can’t find anything. Really, I’m more in favor of bringing back physical buttons for all basic functions, but a good UI will not only make it quick and easy to say change to the next song or view trip details, but it will also prevent you from performing more complicated tasks while in motion. We’ll see what GM’s solution is, but I have little faith.
Ah yes, I love my coffee flavor coffee with a shot of espresso.
I don’t drink instant as my daily coffee, but I do use it for baking and cocktails. When you want coffee flavor in something without the grainy texture of coffee grinds, instant coffee is the best solution because it dissolves entirely. It’s great for ice cream, frosting, coffee cake, coffee syrup, or anything else of the sort. I’ve also found that the quality of instant coffee has improved significantly over the years, so it does actually make a pretty decent cup of coffee in a pinch.
I'll tell you what I want… Katamari Damaci online multi player. Imagine the final level where you roll up the world but with the mechanics of the multiplayer mode that was already in place. It'll be like agar.io where you get bigger and you absorb other people as you get bigger or you get absorbed because you weren't quick enough at growing. They could update the levels to be themed and add new items and Easter eggs for you to discover and pick up. I want this soooooo bad! I want to play with my friends and strangers. I want different play modes where you get the biggest in the time, pick up the most of a specific thing, capture the flag, use your katamari to play golf but it gets harder if you pick up weird shaped stuff that throws off your balance, Easter egg hunt, racing, team games where you absorb the enemy!!! I want it alllllll!!!
I can’t remember where I saw this so take it with a grain of salt… But I remember that the set of studies to come out on the sanitary condition of air dryers was funded by the paper towel industry. Not that the studies aren’t correct or anything, but I do think that it’s something to consider.
Depends on the wood. Some wood we use for spices like cinnamon so you’ve probably already eaten that. But other types of wood are considered toxic not only to consume, but to the plants around it. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I’m certainly no expert on the matter.
IM GONNA TIE YOU TO THE RADIATOR AND GRAPE YOU IN THE MOUTH!!!
