Ah I see thatn is frustrating
I can’t figure out how to use Swype?
I’ve only ever known qwerty for phones, what else is there lol
Amaze balls thanks so much
Same. Absolutely. Already donated this year but time for some more.
I think its weird no one mentioned how new 11 is , for them to be releasing 12 already. Like, their os life cycle is usually way longer.
Please just do yourself a favor and run Linux mint cinammon. It is the easiest distros to use bar none and super reliable, great for anything gaming included. Tons of support and hell and software options and driver support.
I belive you but how strange. Think pads are like the go to budget Linux laptop option. They’ve worked flawlessly for me for various distros over various models and years.
Agreed with Linux gaming AMD all the way. For laptops if you don’t wanna go dedicated GPU they make some wonderful budget friendly performance APUs (CPU plus GPU like Intel integrated graphics but more capable for light gaming :) IMO of course
Old think pads can be had for dirt cheap on eBay, you’ve essentially got a little server you can hide anywhere, you don’t have the keep the lid open (disable sleep on lid close, you can hide it wherever you want now) , ANDmost importantly it has it’s own little integrated UPS :)
I had no idea about proton beta and bleeding edge. Amazing recommendation thank you
In steam I am typically using proton experimental or hotfix. If those fail I use whatever proton db users recommend
Thanks. There have been a couple that I look up on Proton DB and they recommend GE over normal and I’ve been too afraid or lazy to implement it
I need to ask a dumb question. I’ve only been using the steam provided proton versions. Should I use the GE ones and if so how? Thanks
Yeah I was gonna say this is something anyone in tech knows, spaces are a plague
I’ll set this up this weekend, thanks for the heads up (salute emoji)
Really everything taken straight out of the US playbook, they learned from us after all.
