Ugh. I was looking for a Book and found it on Barnes and Noble. according to the blurb I was supposed to be able to download it after purchase. But after purchasing it I quickly found out that you can only download it if you have the Nook app. Which isn’t available in Canada. Where I’m from.

I was able to find the .apk and install it on my phone but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

Sadly, I’ve only ridden it quickly once. I got sick for a month. Then once that went away, I fell down a flight of stairs and broke my wrist. The doctor says I’ll be able to use my hand again by the 17th of this month. Then I’m gonna hit the open road. I just want an extra battery to stave off any range anxiety I may have.

I attempted to buy the battery from them online, but when I do so, it says it won’t ship up to Canada. I have sent an email asking where/how I can purchase an extra battery, I’m just waiting for a response.

But if someone else knows where I can get another battery in Canada, I’ll take it.

The problem with that philosophy is this is such a new field, that there really isn’t any “reputable” companies out there. They’re all brand new. They’re all making their names. I’m sure in a few years it will be different but right now that’s the current state.

I will admit for me the big part is in lifting it. I live in a three story walk up. I’m only on the second floor so it’s not too bad. And we do have bike storage where I live but it’s permanently locked from 8pm to 8 am. There is a 1st floor “mud room” I could keep it in, but that is half a floor up also.
