For the life of me I cannot figure out how to join this community from my Lemmy.world instance. The sidebar says use !shell@programming.dev as a search term in my instance, no results.
I can use shell@programming.dev (no exclamation) and I see posts, but no join ability.
I’m unsure of why, it seems like we are on the same instance, but only the one with the exclamation works for me and before the update too. However, since there was just an update maybe the bug is fixed, but please tell me if you still can’t join it now
When I first searched for !shell@programming.dev in feddit.dk’s search field I saw your comment and then a second later the link to the community was shown:
link text :"Shell Scripting@programming.dev - 1 subscriber"link to :https://feddit.dk/c/shell@programming.dev
the html is: <a class="community-link " title="!shell@programming.dev" href="/c/shell@programming.dev"><pictu ....
I clicked the link to the community and subscribed to the community.
Then I read your comment so I tried to search again
and (I think) only your comment was shown.
Now later again when I try your comment the links are shown consistently.
