And the new one they introduced will have fewer features than the old one with no plans to get it to feature parity.
Alternatively, they may make an amazing second chat app that is the smoothest you’ve ever seen and then they’ll shutter it and say “don’t worry, we rolled a couple of those features into Google Chat.”
