No info on who, what or why
Modlog finds my account but doesn’t link to anything to find out more:
mod Banned @boredtortoise from the community World News@lemmy.ml
reason: Sinophobia
expires: in 5 years
Edit: as the larger issue, when incorrect mod actions happen, shouldn’t Lemmy have a system for handling those? Both transparency to the users, and ways to forward the action for an admin to fix
I don't know what's going on here? I appreciate your help and was discussing it — the things which apply and which don't. What do you mean with this reply? Is it meant for some other thread? Who called you mean? What is the racism sentence there?
All post histories are public. Anyone can see what's true. Or even give a link
Ugh just take the L and move on. You know what you did wrong.
That is really weird behavior, what is this?
If you know more than anyone else, why not link to it? Like this or like so
I'm done. Good luck dealing with an actual mod when they come by. They will likely be more professional than me but they won't be nicer.
What is the reason for acting negatively? I truly understand and don't hold it against you if you really are genuine and accidentally said something you meant to go elsewhere. No need to worry about losing face or anything. This is just a text forum, things happen and they're easy to correct.
I don't like cheap attempts at manipulation, now take your debate pervertry elsewhere.
Me neither. Where is that happening?
Dude you can't reason with someone like that. They're not here to be reasonable. It's ok to just block and ignore them.
Yeah I saw in the end. Had to check what's going on with their first comments.
I like to give a safe out to others if they truly just messed up instead of attacking for hostility's sake
