It CAN BE amazing in certain situations. Ceo tomfoolery is what’s making generative Ai become a joke to the average user.

if she really can’t hold steady hours for whatever reason then fiverr is the next best option. or look up things like gaming where you can sell in-game currency or resources for money

Just use the right ublock filter to get past these silly anti adblocks

eee@lemm.eeto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•For those with larger phones, how do you handle them without grip accessories?2·2 years agoidk, after a while I realised I shouldn’t be fighting so hard to use my phone. I use my phone one handed a lot on public transit so it got to the point where I decided I should actually get a phone that fits my needs, instead of trying to work around the issues with my phone.
Got the smallest samsung flagship and I’ve been really happy with it.
eee@lemm.eeto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•For those with larger phones, how do you handle them without grip accessories?1·2 years agoFor me, the samsung flagships have been a godsend - small enough to use one-handed, yet powerful.
People hate on Samsung but the UI has improved over the past few years, and whatever bloat they have can mostly be uninstalled now.
As a bonus, I like the Samsung quick toggles much, much more than the pixel ones.

eee@lemm.eeto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•For those with larger phones, how do you handle them without grip accessories?12·2 years agoI tried a bunch of things - popsockets, elastic band things, i even pasted high-friction grip tape to the sides and back of the phone directly.
After 2 years, I just went out and got a smaller phone lol
that’s your choice, and that’s entirely fine. but it’s different when a platform deliberately makes it inaccessible.

eee@lemm.eeto You Should Know@lemmy.world•Lemmy Admins Are Full Of Shit. They Are Obsessed With Having Power, Silencing Users, Banning Users, And Want To Use A Karma System Like Reddit To Restrict Your Ability To Use Lemmy.4·2 years agoI see a lot of chat but nothing else.
If lemmy works now, use it. If the devs/admins implement weird shit, stop using it. Life ain’t that complicated.
I personally moved from lemmy.world because I don’t like their defederation policy. I also block all beehaw communities because I don’t think they’re acting in the interest of the lemmyverse. You don’t have to agree with any of that, but that’s the beauty of self-agency. Join whatver instance you want, block whatever you want, hell, use lemmy or kbin only if you agree with its policies.
That’s stupid.
The main problem with lemmy now is adoption, there isn’t a critical mass of users yet.
When users see the stats without lemmy.world, they’ll be discouraged from joining. Add to that the issues with federation and the few who join will leave because of the steep learning curve.
Way to alienate potential users.
