I have been loving it so far <3 the world design and exploration is so so satisfying. I get why it’s such a revered title. I just wish I didn’t fall off to my death so often, but, alas, that’s a skill issue. XD

Dark souls. (Post Ornstein and Smough.) I want to figure out how to interact with the anor londo painting, and I’m also debating whether to go new londo ruins, or the post Queelag area next, (or maybe the catacombs.) lots of options now that I’ve unlocked teleportation. I still feel like I have tons of exploring to do, in the beginning I felt really underleveled for a bunch of areas but It might be time to give them another go.

Glad you liked it! I used a bunch of things:

Pencil for the base drawing, highly pigmented color inks, some water soluble and some water proof markers (fine tip, brush tip) a .02 fineliner and some color pencils.

I digitally painted over the skin 'cause the markers I was using for it are very fine tip, which works great on small sketches but started looking too noisy on this format, so I wasn’t happy with it, but it turned out alright.

I like the softness of it. Very cool

I like that you chose to draw yourself drawing. It makes me feel tense because your style is very unforgiving, not someting I can easily do; but you are going at it focused, steady. All in all a nice piece.

I’m glad you like this, thank you! I don’t feel I have a super consistent art style (which is a blessing and a curse). Even though I’ve been drawing my whole life, that still eludes me.

Thank you :) I enjoy experimenting with mixed media a lot, (with varying degrees of success). This drawing ended up with just the right amount of messiness.

I looked it up and yeah, a little bit. (What a crazy story) I used a photo of a random as reference though :P

I’m going through an involuntary gaming “detox” due to hardware issues, and I’ve found myself with the time and motivation to resume some personal projects I had abandoned all together; that kinda gave me a reality check that perhaps I’m taking away a little too much time from other hobbies and interests. I’m glad that you are taking back control of your time, and hopefully you can come back to games with a healthier perspective later. :)
