Just started Trails of Cold Steel 2 after beating Octopath Traveler 2. It’s nice to come back to a JRPG where unit position matters. One of my favorite battle systems!

For the love of everything just make Octopath Traveler 3!
It’s always a good time to become a patient gamer (if you’re into single player games).
I’m 90 hours into Octopath Traveler II. I’ve been playing it for the last 5 months and honestly it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. Thoroughly enjoying it and am on the last portion of the game.
I’m considering COE33 or FF7 Rebirth next.
When it comes to saltines, my brain never wants to open the plastic packaging further to make it easier to access the crackers. I always end up gamifying it by trying to continue to grab more crackers without breaking them even if it’s all the way at the end of the pack. My wife does not understand the focus and determination needed for the cracker shimmy.
I need to walk more. I just sit too long for work and haven’t had a chance to work out my lungs or legs.
Super clean! You’re probably worthy of trying to set the clock on a VCR now.
I changed my strings about 2 months ago and haven’t touched it since. I feel like I do this every few years with my guitar.
I use my blinker even when turning into my own driveway and the reason is simple:
The signal isn’t for me. It’s for others to know my intentions.
One major thing that makes driving with others safer is predictability and your blinkers can help with that.
My gaming sessions on my Steam Deck are about 1-2 hours around 2-3 times a week. It takes me about 4-6 months to finish an RPG.
I randomly decided to play a round of Tetris in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 and ended up playing my best game ever of 715 lines with 54 minutes of play before losing. It was supposed to just be a quick 15 minute session but turned into something quite chaotic and fun!
I was with a friend at Home Depot and I asked if he thought a piece of wood I was holding was a foot long.
Friend: Let me just whip it out real fast.
Me: What are you going to do? Measure it 12 times?
That was 20 years ago and we still laugh about it today.
American here. If I was at a mall here in the US and heard this kind of bragging I’d roll my eyes, too.
I was once trying to buy some snacks at a market and a person’s card was declined so they started bragging about how much money they had in the bank and that the store was wrong. Everyone just sighed and groaned around her.
When I went on the first few dates with my now-wife, I did not flirt with her as in try to tease her or do anything overtly sexual.
I honestly think I won her over because how enthusiastic I was about telling stories. She said I was so charming because of how passionate and animated I was while telling her about myself that she could see how confident and content I was.
Prior to meeting her at 35, I had never had a girlfriend and had only ever gone on 2 dates.
To learn about recursion, first we must talk about recursion.
I have a huge fear of electricity. Even if I can work on the amp unplugged, I have anxiety even thinking of plugging it back in after an attempted fix. I need to get over it.
It’s a CDP-120 and I think it’s 6-7 years old? A neighbor gave it away for free since the key was broken after I told them my son was interested in music.
I’m so glad I was able to fix it! The key is a bit lower than normal after a few days now but still plays well.
It really is! Now I’m tempted to try and see what’s wrong with my old guitar amp. I have the feeling that issue is out of my league, though.
I really like this! Getting burnt so bad that you’d blow on something cold like ice out of fear.
I’m honestly shocked that don’t leverage that idea more where the terrain changes (unless they do later again in the series).
I started from Trails in the Sky FC two years ago and I actually regret not playing this series sooner. What’s funny is I got FC as part of a bundle ages ago but never got around to playing it. I probably won’t play the new remake until I finally catch up on all the games hahaha.
