I fail to understand where you drew the conclusion that I’m not doing any legwork
Have a fun-tastic day, friend
Yep
I fail to understand where you drew the conclusion that I’m not doing any legwork

Ah yes! Get idea! Just completely change the system! Why didn’t WE think of that!
Good show! I’ll call everyone today and tell them that these protests are completely stupid and we have a better idea now
Just add a non-steam game to your library. I do that with epic, gog, and even my emulated and modded games. All in one place with just a couple clicks
I don’t think many outside of here do.
Many people here stay in the place they were born. Even when they hate it. It’s hard moving and leaving everything behind. It’s tough moving to a new part of the country without any contacts.
I’ve relocated a few times, there’s always a culture shock. You’d think it would be pretty much the same everywhere due to our saturated commercial culture, but it really is different everywhere. Sometimes just a few hours of separation between places can be two completely different worlds
We’re a nation full of smaller countries, cultures and customs. It’s hard to see that on the outside looking in due to so many of us parroting things online, as well as the media that we distribute throughout the world (movies, tv, music ect)
But it’s a VAST nation of many different ways of life.
I’m donating 10 a month. Least I can do. It’s one of the last “good” places on the internet
Does he honestly believe that an single browser company can take down google by checks notes LOSING 85% of their resources?
Gonna guess the poster is very young
Cigarette butts really anger me. It’s a sign of entitlement that I hate. The person knows it’s smelly and disgusting, so they get it as far away from their person or car without a second thought.
I can be judgemental about it because I smoked for over 20 years. I kept a ziplock bag on me (kind of like you would for dog poop when walking your dog) and would keep em in there until I could find a trash can. The ashtray in my car was also used instead of throwing them out the window.
Now that I’ve quit the habit, I notice it even more. It’s awful. My father and mother in law throw their butts on our lawn literally every time they come over, even though they are fully aware that we don’t smoke. When I put a coffee can on the front porch and let them know that’s where they should throw them, they looked at ME like I was the rude one.
Judge em hard. Cigarette smokers have very little space for other people in their world.
Just me.
I’m old and have very few friends, heh. Especially ones who would even know what plex is
Yeah, one of the reasons I love plex is I don’t actually need to be connected to the internet for it to work. Just my home network. All my devices work fine when the internet goes out, which is frequently does during storm season
This guy archives
Yeah, lots of people in here saying “stop supporting corporations” as if it is not only easy, but simple to do.
Wanna cook whole foods? You growing your own or buying them from the Amish?
Wanna fix your own house (something I am currently doing), good luck finding a hardware/lumber supply that isn’t owned by one.
Want to use the internet?
It isn’t so simple. I think doing what you can with what you have is all anyone in the working class can really do. For some people it’s more, others less.
In the end, it seems like human history is a series of people with wealth and resources screwing over others, with brief bursts of progress.
Ugj.
It’s more of one guy’s commentary on toxic masculinity gone completely out of hand, at least according to the author.
I take stuff from work.
“Science is just stories told by people who read books to make people who don’t read books feel dumb”
It’s also a nod to sooooo many married couples who got together for all the wrong reasons
Al nailed Peg because she was hot, not because he actually liked her. Peg got knocked up
Suddenly, Al, who was a star at the time and had many gals, is stuck with one annoying chick he only liked when he was drunk at a party.
I agree, but it was still pretty fun. That first season is pure gold.
I really enjoyed the first, though I was terrible at managing traffic.
Now I can be terrible at managing traffic AND homeless!
Most historians agree Jesus very likely was a real person. Possibly even an algamation of multiple people.
However, doesn’t make him the son of God or even a holy entity.
Most likely he was a highly charismatic person who had a LOT of grievances with both the church and government, and his message turned into a political movement the Romans tried to quench ala Paul and the re-writings of the text at the time.
We actually have a good chunk of knowledge on Pontius Pilate, who was a real person. A real person who would NEVER wash his hands of executing someone. He was a big fan of it.
Part of the revision was to eject the Romans from the death of Jesus, and blame the Jewish people, in order to make the movement more palatable to the Roman people. Thus, the story of Pilate “washing his hands” of the matter because he thought Jesus was in fact, a righteous man.
Jews didn’t crucify people. They stoned them to death.
Jesus had a lot of criticism of the Roman occupation and was killed by the Romans.
Decades later when mythology started to surround this human, we see the revisions really kick into high gear
