BMW at 6:20 asserting its dominance.

IMO cities could really reduce general car traffic if they’d spread a bunch of electric cargo bike sharing stations around its residential areas, just so that people could use them for things like their shopping trips. Pay for your bike, ride to your next grocery store, park the bike, do your shopping, load your groceries into your bike, head back to the sharing station, leave your bike & take your groceries the remaining little bit to your home (if it’s on your way I guess you could drop it off first and then return the bike).
Could easily use them for the odd trip into a hardware, electronics or furniture stores too.

Yep, I’d love to buy a cargo bike to use when I cannot put the stuff on my panniers but they cost like a used city car

Trust me, it’s sooo worth it. I have a three-wheeled one. First I drop my son off at kindergarten and then I go to the grocery store and bring home like five or six large bags of food. It’s so great.

I understand, I’m looking into alternatives like finding someone that can weld and build it instead of buying.
